The Amici String program was developed to reflect our personal and pedagogical values and those of our friends and colleagues:
- To provide a positive and inclusive atmosphere for string students to develop their skills, their love of music, and their friendships.
- To provide quality musical education in a non-judgmental environment, where all students, parents, and instructors are treated respectfully and equitably.
- To provide opportunities for students to fulfill their full potential, both musically and personally.
We welcome you to our program and invite students and parents to participate in our weekly master classes and technique classes, weekly chamber music coaching, workshops with guest clinicians, monthly solo recitals and summer programs.
Regular classes take place Mondays at 4:15, 5:15, and 6:15pm. Classes take place every Monday, except for statutory holidays.
We host a monthly Sunday recital program which is available on a per-time sign up basis. These recitals take place on Sundays between 1pm and 5pm. Each student will be informed of the times of his or her classes, chamber groups, and recitals after registration.
Classes and recitals take place at
Bethany Chapel of Calgary, 3333 Richardson Way SW Calgary, Alberta.
